Time Tickin' Faster?

Wow! It seems that the world rotates faster compared to what we know as 24 hours. Time runs or maybe jumps, just like a frog leaping from a lily pad to another. But instead of seconds that it takes to jump, feels like months. The third grading period is over, and now, another quarter begins.
Within almost 2 months or I think more than 2 months, I have learned lots of things. Within a continuation of a topic from the past grading, which is the second grading, especially about creating a website. I learned how to apply things such as: background image, background color and adding hyperlinks in the HTML editor of Microsoft Windows, the Notepad.
As time passed by, I learned an easier way to create and administer a web page, and that is by using the windows program Microsoft Frontpage. This is a big help to devotees like us who might have dreamt to have our own website. I mean, it makes creating a web page easier. Not like in the Notepad, you have to memorize and type every single HTML code for your set-up or command to work. The Frontpage is easier to manage compared to the Notepad.
But there was no time that I completed my attendance in my subject ICT IV, the same as to my other subjects. There were times that I got excused to practice for the radio-broadcasting, reviewing for the incoming Division Science Quiz and some other contests.
But that didn't bother me at all, I set my mind, myself to work hard for this grading to improve my grades.
Moving on, I will look forward to do my very best. Hoping for the best, I pray to God for His guidance and may He bless us all! :)
I'll aim for a better me.

New Year, New Me

The last month of the year 2012 which is December has ended and January came again. A new year for all of us. It's 2013, the year of the water snake in the Chinese calendar. It is yet another year for another chance to make our lives better.
To celebrate new year, families have their meals in midnight of December 31 to dawn of January 1, it is traditionally known as the "Media Noche." In facing a new year, we are talking about fun, excitement and amusement. Some use firecrackers and fireworks to celebrate the new year, although it is very dangerous because some get bruises because of these. Others who are quite the non-law abiding citizen us gunfire, which is strictly prohibited due to safety measurement.
But for the families that know the  meaning of safety, some just cling their utensils in their houses or anything that produces sound. Some use the so called "torotot," an object which is blown. Some use their vehicles' horn. Others watch fireworks from their windows because of the threat some things are bringing.
Going to mass with their wishes flowing and floating in their mind. Having our own New Years Resolution, which actually started in the coasts of Rome, Italy.
New Year is for new beginning, another year to correct our mistake. Another chance to have peace with your enemies, to fix what was broken. Another time to do what you want and chase your dreams. Another year to grow up and be a better person.

The Essence of Christmas

Based from the Bible, God created the world in seven days. He created us, the human beings with the hope that we will take good care of what he had granted us.

But then, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was not created but was born. Blessed Mary ever virgin is the mother of Jesus and His father is Joseph. Before Joseph and Mary lived together, Joseph had a family and had children, he got jailed and bailed. He was married to Mary because God knew that Mary will be safer with an experienced and full grown man rather than being with a man at her age.
It is believed to be that Jesus Christ was born on the 25th of December, but we don't actually know the exact year, or December 25 is not even the time Jesus was born. But we know that the Savior has come to defeat the evil. He even performed lots of unbelievable things, the impossible made possible, called miracle. He changed one's faith and life. That's why we celebrate his birth I guess.
Christmas, we use to celebrate it by having meals in midnight of December 24 called as the "Noche Buena." In Noche Buena, we use to eat with the whole family. We even put up alittle program, with lots of different fun games. After those, we set out to carol on houses ,streets by streets, and after that, we will go back to our house and divide whatever we had. In Christmas time, this is never missing, opening of presents! :) This is something that our family have given to each other.

With the quite cold weather in the morning, the whole family goes to mass and will prepare a little and simple lunch. But the real essence of Christmas, is not the money or material things that you have. They say that, Christmas time is forgiving time. Christmas is being with the one that you love, sharing whatever thingd you have, the time where you will find the real meaning of happiness.
